This drama is so stupid but I’m coming back every time to watch it and laugh at every scene. The show has such a funny construction and no matter how cheap it may look, ‘Come back mister’ is a breath of air. I’m not going to compare this show with others but I think, at some point, we all need a drama to help us relieve our stress with.

When it comes to the plot nothing is way too complicated and even though with each new episode it reaches a new level of predictability, it remains enjoyable. It is hard to hate a certain character because the comedy washes off all the evil things one or another did. Like for example, Jae Kook –played by Choi Won Young – is the evil, the bad apple of the show however there is a certain satisfaction every time Hae Joon ignores him. Like when the two are supposedly in a fired up conversation but then Hae Joon sees Da Hye, he runs after her, leaving Jae Kook talk alone, or more like spit his evilness to a wall by himself.

Their, Hae Joon and Hong Nam’s, imaginations are so rich and I love the two as a team. They are the cherry of this drama, without them, ‘Come back mister’ wouldn’t be the same. I wish Oh Yeon Seo’s character weren’t a man in a woman’s body, because like that we would’ve finally have a man and a woman –team- friendship, with no romantic feelings involved between them, but even like this is still likable. Rain and Oh Yeon Seo for sure give a certain seasoning to their characters. Weird part is that I was never into Rain’s acting, even now I don’t think he isn’t anything wow, but for a rom-com he is okay. Actually, if one of them were to miss out of this drama, then maybe I wouldn’t be as interested in their characters as I am now.

What I don’t understand about this drama, are the constant crying scenes that give nothing new to the development of the show. I also don’t understand Lee Min Jung’s characters. What’s her use for the drama, other than being the wife who cries over her lost husband? She always has a blank expression on her face and I just….I don’t know, I don’t like her scenes at all.

But, compared to my previous post for this drama, I changed my opinion on Lee Han Nui’s character, Yi Yeon. I like her and Hong Nan’s randomness while Seung Jae has to clean after them. The 3 are quite cute together. However, I secretly desire for a love line between Hong Nan and Seung Jae, even if Hong Nan is in fact his former boss, Gi Tak.

By the way, ever since the beginning I suspected Ji Hoon to be some kind of evil plotting dude, or the mastermind behind all the evilness of this drama, because no one ever said anything to him. I mean, nothing bad or mean. He is pretty young but he is always present during important meetings. Something was definitely off, considering at how fast he got up the ladder.

Anyway, my point regarding ‘Come back mister’ is that the show is fun – for now at least. If they continue with the comedy, until the end, it can become a good relief drama. The plot can be watched with ease since there aren’t many heavy things or if they are, everything will be burried by the comical scenes that interrupt the action from time to time.

I feel the same about Lee Min Jung’s character. It seems like she is often typecasted into these type of roles, unfortunately, and I don’t know whether or not to fault the script or her acting for her depiction of the character. Maybe a combination of both.
